Joyce Loebig, KPA-CTP, CPDT-KA
I am the proud owner and founder of Rewards Dog Training. I'm a graduate of the top-ranked Karen Pryor Academy Professional Dog Trainer program, and am certified through the Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Why Choose a Certified Trainer?
Dog training certification is voluntary and unregulated, and anyone can call themselves a dog trainer. This is unfortunate, because clients seeking solutions to their problems can be led astray, get ineffective training advise, or end up with unintended behavioral issues.
Entrust your pet and family only to a qualified and professionally-certified dog trainer. Trainers who have worked through and graduated from a certification program:
Experience and Qualifications
I use only positive-reinforcement, force-free training methods. Positive reinforcement means teaching the dog what we want them to do, rewarding them for it, and minimizing their chances of continuing unwanted behavior. This approach has been scientifically shown to be the most effective training method with the least number of side effects. It is effective, science-based, and humane.
I am committed to force-free training, and never use pain, fear, or intimidation to achieve results.
